Woyeje Media Academy, in partnership with Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU), graduated its second batch of students at a ceremony held on Friday, 16 October 2026, at the university’s Tesano Campus in Accra.
The ceremony brought together Ing. Divine Kpetigo, Chairman of the GCTU Governing Council; Professor Ebenezer Malcalm, Acting Vice Chancellor; Dr. Vera Graham Asante, Director of the Centre for Strategic Business and Professional Development (CSBPD); Madam Frema Adunyame, keynote speaker; and Mrs. Harey Adjoa Owusu Kusi, founder and Executive Director of Woyeje Media Academy, alongside media practitioners, families and invited guests.
Thirty-one graduates completed the programme, which provides practical training in media presentation, news gathering, content production, DJing and sound engineering. Emmanuel Kwetey was named Overall Best Student.

The graduation marked another milestone in the academy’s commitment to developing media talent and preparing aspiring professionals for the evolving media industry.
Speaking at the ceremony, the academy’s founder reaffirmed its guiding philosophy, “Substance Over Noise,” and urged graduates to prioritise competence, integrity, responsible communication and meaningful impact over popularity alone.
