The advocacy and impact of Life Beyond Opinions, the newly launched book by renowned broadcaster, author, and DJ Ohemaa Woyeje, continue to gain momentum as influential personalities from politics, religion, academia, and the media lend their support to the publication.
Following the successful launch of the book, Ohemaa Woyeje embarked on a special distribution exercise, presenting copies to key figures across various sectors. The recipients have since praised the book’s message of authenticity, resilience, self-worth, and purposeful living.
Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Hon. Baba Jamal, described himself as a living example of the book’s central theme. Receiving a copy of the publication, he commended Ohemaa Woyeje’s resilience, authenticity, and outstanding contributions to Ghana’s media industry.
According to him, many people become trapped by societal expectations and public opinion, but true fulfillment comes from living authentically and embracing one’s God-given purpose.
“I think this book will be very useful for people who want to be real and live according to their true selves, not by standards imposed by others. I like this book so much, and I pray that more people will have the opportunity to read it and live beyond the opinions of others. I am an embodiment of that because of what I have gone through in life. Despite what people think or say about me, I always try to remain focused, principled, and true to myself,” he stated.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Public Procurement Authority, Hon. Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, also endorsed the book, urging Ghanaians, particularly women and young people, to read it.
“Life Beyond Opinions is more than a book; it is a conversation that challenges readers to live boldly, think independently, and remain true to themselves,” he said.
He further praised Ohemaa Woyeje for refusing to allow societal pressures to dictate her path, describing her as a role model whose journey offers valuable lessons for the youth.
Similarly, the Third National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Osman Masawudu, described the book’s message as universal and relevant to everyone regardless of their background or political affiliation.
Reflecting on his own political journey, he recounted how many people discouraged him from contesting for a national executive position within the party, insisting that he could not succeed. However, he persevered and eventually emerged victorious.
“I did not listen to those who discouraged me. Through hard work and the grace of Almighty Allah, I became the Third National Vice Chairman of the NPP. This book reinforces that lesson, and I will encourage everyone to get a copy and read it,” he said.
President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, also applauded Ohemaa Woyeje for adding authorship to her accomplishments.
Although he was unable to fully participate in the official launch due to unforeseen circumstances, he expressed confidence in her abilities and encouraged the public to support the initiative.
“Let’s all go out there and patronize this book. Let’s support our sister because she is doing exceptionally well,” he urged.
The book has also received support from the religious community. Prophet Eric Boahen Uche, General Overseer of Reign House Chapel in Accra, pledged a substantial undisclosed amount toward the acquisition and promotion of the publication after receiving a copy during a church service.
“The message contained in Life Beyond Opinions transcends borders, cultures, and backgrounds. It is a book that speaks to the realities and experiences of every human being. I believe this publication has the potential to inspire positive change across the world, and I encourage everyone to support its message of authenticity, resilience, self-worth, and purposeful living,” he said.
Adding his voice to the growing endorsements, Dr. Peter Alex Wiredu, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, and a former Commissioner of Police and Comptroller of the Ghana Immigration Service, congratulated Ohemaa Woyeje on the achievement.
He acknowledged the immense effort involved in researching, writing, and publishing a book, describing the accomplishment as commendable.
“Accept my congratulations for the hard work. Writing a book, researching, gathering your thoughts, and reducing all that material into a publication is not an easy task. We pray that more books will come from you,” he said.
